Does my health insurance cover chiropractic?

Luma Health and Chiropractic operates as an out-of-network provider. This approach allows us to deliver care based on clinical need rather than insurance-driven guidelines, visit caps, or treatment restrictions.

Some insurance plans include out-of-network benefits for chiropractic services. When applicable, we provide detailed superbills so patients may submit claims to their insurance carrier for potential reimbursement.

Reimbursement, if available, is determined by your individual plan and is generally issued directly to you after deductibles or plan requirements are met.
We accept your HSA, HRA, and Flex pay plans here! For your convenience, all payment arrangements are made in advance.

What are the benefits of seeing a chiropractor?

The spine plays an important role in overall health by supporting the nervous system, which helps the body communicate and function properly. When the spine isn’t moving or functioning as it should, it can contribute to pain, tension, and discomfort all over the body. Chiropractic care focuses on improving spinal function to support comfort, movement, and overall well-being. Benefits vary by individual, which is why care is always tailored to your specific needs and goals.

How often will I come in?

The number of visits recommended depends on where you are in your health journey and what your goals are. Some patients begin with more frequent visits, while others require less frequent care over time. Our focus is on supporting long-term function and health, not just symptom relief. Care plans are individualized and adjusted as your needs change, with clear communication every step of the way.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes, Chiropractic care is a natural holistic treatment option that supports musculoskeletal and nervous system health when provided by a licensed chiropractor.
Care is tailored to the individual, with techniques and recommendations adjusted based on age, health history, and specific needs. This allows chiropractic care to be appropriate for a broad range of patients, from children through older adults. Our approach focuses on using gentle, evidence-informed methods to support function and overall well-being, without relying on surgery or long-term medication use.

Should my child see a chiropractor?

Chiropractic care can be a gentle and supportive option for children as they grow and develop. Pediatric chiropractic uses age-appropriate techniques and is tailored to each child’s size, needs, and stage of development. Many families choose chiropractic care as part of a proactive approach to their child’s overall well-being, with care focused on comfort, safety, and individual needs.

How long are chiropractic appointments?

Usually, the first appointment and consultation last around 30 minutes. Once you and Dr. Sarai Camacho complete the initial visit and create a care plan together, follow-up appointments typically take about 10 minutes. Certain services, such as our spinal decompression protocol, may take a bit longer (and are often well worth the extra time). We’re committed to providing efficient and accurate care so you can receive consistent treatment without unnecessary delays.

Where is your office located?
